IA770 Audix on R012x.01.0.411.7

I have a problem installing an IA770 onto an 8300. On a list con all it is showing no board, and I have tried a second daughter board with the same result.
On the maintemance web interface under view process status the messaging shows 0/1 down.
The server has been restarted several times.

Has anyone come across this before or any suggestions?

type change media-gateway 1
in the slot V8 or Vp enter messaging-analog

you should then see it in list conf all.
