I guess that IA 770 license (or "right to use") is embedded into the licence file of S8300. am i right?
if i am right - is there any way to check S8300 license file, just to see if there is IA 770 "right to use".
1) I installed AUDIX HW in the S8300, do I have to add Audix, or is there any command i can check Audix HW (li conf all, or something like that), btw I didn't find any HW on my S8300 configuration
2) i tried to do AUTOINSTALL in telnet session(followed the instructions from "IA 770 ...Installation Checklist and Instructions"), but the message from the system was that i don't have this file. this is a new system, I did licence and authentication file procedures for S8300 > have groove them into the S8300 already.

thanks a lot

There are certain versions of S8300 that did not come with the IA770 loaded and you have to actually load the software. It should have come on a CD with the system. I would also check with Avaya and make sure that you don't have the "old" hard drive. I'm assuming if you are doing a new install that you don't, but V1 of the system came with a hard drive that was too small to support IA770. So, if you didn't order it(IA770), you got the small HD. There is a free upgrade. If that's not the case and your HD is fine, there is a daughter board that you need to have installed on the S8300 and from the sounds of it, you need to install the software ONTO the HD. If I recall, the instructions for that are in the same document you referred to in your question. Oh, and I could not find any evidence of any RTU on the license file associated with the S8300. I checked one that I did with an IA770 and I couldn't find anything about the IA770 on the license file. Good luck!
