Hi.

I'm doing some research on the Nortel i2050 and I'm trying to figure out which ports are needed for the i2050 to work. I've browsed most of Nortels support site without finding anything. Anyone know if there exist any documentation on this?

IP Phones -> CS1000

IP Phones - CS1000 signaling RUDP 5000
Signaling (Unistim) signaling RUDP 5100
UFTP (firmware download) signaling RUDP 5105
RTP (media) voice / RTP UDP/RTP 5200
RTCP (signaling) voice / RTCP UDP/RTCP 5201
Signaling (Echo server) signaling RUDP 10000
TFTP (firmware download) signaling TFTP 69

Hi.

I found that on this forum, but it doesn't say which ones are between i2050 and the CS and which is between the i2050 and the SS.

And how is the i2050 utilize these:
UFTP (firmware download) signaling RUDP 5105
TFTP (firmware download) signaling TFTP 69
IP Phones - WLAN voice UDP/RTCP IP Protocol 119?

If I understand correctly, there is an licensing server for the i2050.... Which port does this use?

Download a copy of the "IP Phone Fundamentals" NTP. There is an appendix with the port numbers including those used by the 2050 Licence Server.
