Hi,

My switch system is G3V6i. There is IP phone company supply a dial in No. (17909) to us for the DDD & IDD calls. That means we should to add the 17909 before the DDD & IDD calls No. I wanted our PBX can add them automatically. I have configured the PBX as following, but it doesn't work. Do I have to change other configurations?
Thanks,
Jerry

I think your question is you want to add digits on the inbound calls?

Then you would need to add 17909 in the trunk group screen.

INCOMING CALL HANDLING TREATMENT
Service/Called Called Del Insert Per Call Night
Feature Len Number CPN/BN Serv

In the insert column add the 17909.

Hi Rtmckee,

I want to add the digit on the outbound call.
For example, when I want to call to Tek-Tips(1-800-954-7800), I should dial 9 + 17909 + 001 + 8009547800. The No. 17909 is supplied by my IP Phone vendor. When we dial it before the IDD phone No., the call will go via their IP phone curcuit. What I want is that: When we want to dial a IDD or DDD calls, the Definity can add the 17909 automatically. That means we just dial 9+001+8009547800,but the system can insert the 17909 for us.

Thanks,
Jerry

You can do this using the ars digit conversion table.
Might be easiest for you to check your manuals on how to do this, rather than explain the whole process here.
If you do get stuck, will be happy to help.
