I made a lovely website for my company in Dreamweaver. Preview in Browser works fine and it looks great.

Now how do I actually get this thing on the internet?!? Please be as simple in your answers as possible. I've never done this before.

First, you need a domain name. Go to GoDAddy or some other registrar and get your domain name i.e. yourcompany.com
Second, you will need a host, a place to upload the files to. If you want a free one (with ads) just google "free webhosting". If you don't want ads then I suggest fatcow.com You can get a site for only $5 a year. (This comes with only one email address. If you have your own email server already this won't be an issue). The hosting company will send you the stuff you need to input into the FTP part of dreamweaver for uploading.

1. Get a domain name
2. Get a web host
3. Set up your site in DW with the host information
4. Set up your domain DNS to point to your host
5. Upload the site

There are lots of web hosting providers around who will do 1,2 and 4 for you. Google for web hosting and look for one that supports whatever server utilities that you need such as:

Server side languages (ASP/ASP.NET/PHP)
SMTP (email) servers
Appropriate database servers
SSI
Secure service (HTTPS) if required
