I installed an exchange 2000 server into an exchange 5.5 site. Then I moved all the mailboxes over to the exchange 2000 server. I noticed that under the email address tab on the user account that the "automatically update the email addresses based on recipient policy" check box is not checked. Is there away to enable this option without doing it manually?

Thanks for your help...

Nope. Check it on each person. It should have been checked. You could script the removal of msexchpoliciesexcluded and one other value that I can't recall. Do an ldp dump before and after on one user and you can see what needs to be changed via a ADSI script. Dan

Dan, does it do that on all swing upgrades? I also have a testing environment and it did the same thing.

The box should be checked. I'll double check. Dan
