I have some jpg file I want to delete. I cannot delete it because it says it is in use, but this isn't true.
Can someone help me with this?

Thanks.

Reboot and try deleting it again

Can't help too much, but 1 way of finding out what has it locked is to use procexp from
Click on the binoculars on the taskbar, then type the name of the file in the "handle substring" edit box, and it should list the programs that have a lock on that file. If it lists "system" as the program, then it's someone else on your network. Don't know if there's a better way to find out - but I've used this method in the past, and it works for me.
