I have a terminal server (xyplex) How do I console into a router.

I have the xyplex attached to teh console port on my router but I have no idea how to get into the router from the xyplex.

What do I have to have configured on the router for me to be able to acess it from a terminal server?

What should I look for on the xyplex terminal server that will enable me to access the routers console port?

Seems like an easy thing to do but I'm lost.
