I have a Novell 4.11 network and it has been running pretty
well until Monday Night. It puts nothing in the Console.log
that would inform me as to what is going on. It also puts
nothing in the sys$log.err file but I did find something
in the Vols$log.err that mentioned the following:

Problem with file Q_00ff.srv & file Q_0143ff.srv
(TTS file not changed)
Length kept = 0, had allocated = 65536

Our system went down at 12:22am on Tuesday morning and
again this morning at 12:22 am. It said "Error writing
to FAT table".

Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you
do to solve it.

That error generally means that you have a hardware problem on your disk channel. I've seen it when a RAID controller has gone bad, but usually it's a hard drive that is beginning to fail.

I hope you have a good backup, and you need to get things moved to a new drive ASAP or you're going to lose a lot of stuff.
