i have 2 comb box dependent comb 1, when i change 1, 2 dosent change

I have two combo boxes with 2 dependent on 1
ex: in 1 if i pick boy 2 gives me jim, jack, john
but if i change combo box 1 to girl and i want it to tell me jill,jeanette, it will still only have jim, jack etc.

if i put girl first it dose the reverce

It sounds like you need to requery the dependent ccmbos in the afterupdate event of the first combo. "The Key, The Whole Key, and Nothing But The Key, So Help Me Codd!"
