Toshiba Laptop XP (5.1 build 2600.xpclnt_qfe.021108.2107)
Comcast cable modem
*VPN DOES NOT WORK*
I am trying to move from expensive DirecPC to affordable comcast. Other than the static IP, I can't figure what is the difference between my two XP setups. I see the builds are different...I think my laptop has not been updated to SP1...previously tried the upgrade which caused big problems and re-install of XP, so I'm hesitant to try again.
Most people would say I know a lot "about computers," but in this forum and this area, I'm clueless. If you have any hints or help to offer, you may need to explain
