I want to displayed my menu which is designed in Jave in front of a layer. I created the layer and filled it with a grey color background and i cant see the options of the menu since it is coming behind the layer.
Please help me.

assuming that your menu is in its own layer???? .. cliick on windows/layers (it lists all the layers in the order they appear in)and move the layer that holds the menu to a position after the one that has the grey background, or better yet if it works with your design just change the background color of the layer holding the menu...

Hope this is what you were after (-: The Bird from Down Under

as amtter of fact, the menu is not in a layer, it is a drop down Java menu. I am not sure if it can be put in a layer.
Now, what shall i do ?
:(

Hello beboh!

You may put your Java menu in a layer and change layer order to be on the top of others.

1) create layer (Insert > Layer);
2) insert your menu into layer (click inside the layer > Insert > Media > Applet);
3) change layer order as bigbird3156 suggested (Window > Layers > select layer which has menu and drag it on the top).

But I personally wouldn't recommend to use layers at all!

Good Luck!
