This is my first time using Cisco products... I've configured Linksys Routers.

I am linking my laptop to the power injector with crossover ethernet in the ethernet jack and typing 10.0.0.1 into my browser, but it can't find the bridge. What am I doing worng, or what is the best way to access my bridge.

By the way, I want to use it as an access point for WiFi laptops, was this the right product... Cisco site says its 2,4GHz frequency.

Thanks.

Hello,

does your laptop have an IP address in the range 10.0.0.2 to 10.0.0.10 ?
Make sure that your Ethernet cable is connected to the power injector BEFORE you power on the bridge.
Also, you might want to try a straight instead of a crossover cable.

HTH,

GP
