I was left Hi and Dry by a programmer that left the co. I work for. I can enter info in the Database, but I cannot figure out how to Link the report to print it. My hard drive was swapped and that is when the problem occurred. The db is pointed to M:/Macheff.exe I think I have to go into explorer and link some files somehow, but I don't have a clue. Never used F/P 2.6 before. Using Win 95.

If Network Printer is the problem ....
Before you start your network programme, map the LPT1 to the network printer...
The DOS command for this.. is
NET USE LPT1: \\SharedServerName\SharedPrinterName
This will map the network printer and capture it to your LPT1 port. After that when you run your application, print outs will be sent to the network printer.

If report form is your problem..
When you do the report, if an error box appers specifying the report file name.. you can use that information and search for the myreprtfilename.FRX in the server and locate where it is. Also check if the previous person stored the reports in a specific directory. The report files will have the extension .FRX and a matching .FRT. When you do the report just say
REPORT FORM myReportForm TO PRINT PRINTER (without the file extension)
