My computer has win 2000 prof., it was working OK until I got a log on window with a new member wich I did not recognise so I signed onas administrator and tried to delete the unknown member but got a mesage "Cant perform operation on built in accounts".
I looked at the properties for thuis guest and it said "built in account for guest to the computer domain".
Any ideas will be apreciated.
Thanks

No you cannot delete built-in accounts.
You can rename them, and you can disable them, however.

I suspect what you are seeing is a renamed Guest account.
