I can ping server but cannot map it (over VPN)

I can ping a server on a different subnet, But
I get the following error: "The drive cannot be
mapped because no network was found"

I have done this mapping in the past. Just now I get
this message. I am pinging through window command
prompt. (Media Center Edition)

Any suggestions why this started are appreicated.
