You wouldn't happen to be using Virtual Machines would you, that you have copied and worked from?
What machine is it that you cant see?
Do all the machines log on to the network properly. To check, change the password of the user, and then try logging on with the new password on the machine you are testing. If it doesn't, but will log on with an old password, you may be accessing cached profiles. There is a group policy that you can configure to stop this, but if you are having connection problems, that doesn't help you for now. (ask if you want to know about it).
can you ping the target machine ip and netbios name?
can you open iexplore and type \\192.168.xxx.yyy or whatever and see the shared folders\get the logon box?
Try loging into the target remote computer with domain Administrator account/pw.
Try loging into the machine with domain Administrator/pw, then try and connect to the target machine.
