I am going to replace an old server with a new one (not same type equip). The old has two ISA IBM Option Cards for SDLC communications. I bought 2 new PCI IBM Options Cards for the new server. I need to install NT 4.0 and SP's first then install SNA 4.0 and last the Cards. I want the server to have the same name as the old one. I saw a thread about using Robocopy. That part I understand. This server does not have a lot of apps running on it. It is for communications mainly over the 2 SDLC connections I have.
I have two disable the com ports to work. The new cards have no jumpers and they come with an old IBM diagnostics disk.

Anyone using IBM Options Cards?? NT of course not being plug and play I will have to work. Any help pls contact me.
