I am getting the following error every time I try to create a new form or a new report using the wizard in Microsoft Access 97 on Windows NT 4.0:

"Activex Control was unable to create the object."

When I checked the ActiveX controls, there were no controls listed there. I tried to reinstall the Office 97 program, and recieved the error:

"Comcat.dll was unable to register itself in the registry"

So, I went to the Windowsnt/system32 directory, found the comcat.dll file and deleted it. Then I reinstalled Office 97 and went to the activex controls. They are now listed, however, I am still unable to create forms/reports or what have you.
John Vogel
johnvogel@homepage.com
<a href= FreeDSL Service
[To a get FREE DSL Modem WITH FREE DSL Unlimited Internet Connection click the above link :)]
