What am I doing wrong to get this message?

The expression On Click you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: Event procedure declaration does not match the description of the event having the same name.

No matter what code I attempt to run off the click event I get the same message. HELP?!?!!?!?!?!?!?

Try to compile the code before you run it. That may indicate which line of your code is causing the problem. Also, look for duplicate names of that event elsewhere in the same module or database.

Does this help?

Unfortunately not. As I explained, it doesn't matter what code I try to run--even something as simple as a messagebox gives me the same error message.

As for there being duplicate titles in the database, this is a new database, and this is only the second form I am setting up. I am at a loss. The form also does the same thing if I try to set anything to the On Load event. Strange!

Have you checked your 'Control Source' properties for all fields and Forms?

When that type of error happened to me I had to fix a control source on one of my forms.

Other than that, try eliminating items/controls/procedures, from the form a couple at a time until the error stops. I am sure you thought this was an obvious course of action, but its the best I can offer this fast.
