Hyperlinks in Illustrator 10?

Is it possible to do hyperlinks in AI 10? I'm doing some mapping stuff and would like to make links in my AI files to other AI files and to photos.

I haven't tried, but I think you can't do it from Illustrator.

Why don't you export it to JPG and use ImageReady (it comes with Photoshop). You can create image maps here easily.

Actually, I'm making real maps, not image maps (topo maps, map of a water system on 250 acres of land) and would like links in my AI images to other maps (for example on one map there is a text saying "see this map for details" can I make it into a link?)

Maybe I can create PDFs?
