Hyper threading test

I bought mother board sy-p4vte from soyo
I put intel P4 3.0 Ghz
when I run hyper-threading test is showed
processor test: passed
chipset test: did not pass
Bois test: Passed

I enabled hpyer threading on bois
manufacturing spec says its support prescott processor (hyper threading and FSB 800)
when I run the system I installed windows xp sp2
this system runs to slow
am I doing some thing wrong ? as a new user I need expert advise

Why do you say that it runs too slow?

Which HT test did you run?

Did you run other benchmark software?

I ran intel's Hyper-threading techonolgy Test Utility

do you know any other benchmark software?
