Hi All!

How many times can a hunt hunt?

If a caller dials ext 1234 and I hunt it to ext 2345, can ext 2345 then hunt on a no answer to ext 3456 and so on?

Thank You!

Hunt only occurs when lines are busy. Hunt isn't how you describe what occurs upon "no answer"

Here is an overview of Forward No Answer:
The answer is "two steps then it rings forever"

So then, I could FDN ext 1234 to ext 2345, then FDN ext 2345 to ext 3456 ( and if no ans at 3456, then the originally dialed DN would go to the originally dialed DN voicemail?).

But, in this scenario, wouldn't all of ext's 2345 calls fwd to ext 3456 also?

1234 FDNs to 2345 then 2345 FDNs to 3456 - that's where it would stop - at 3456

There is no feature or mnemonic called FWD. I would say you need to refer to the features using Nortel's language, or nobody will be sure what feature you are referring to.

On an existing phone hunt would work to LHK last hunt key. If you want you can have as many seperate phones in a hunt group. The caveat on the many phones would be they could only hunt to next phone no Voicemail etc. Which is why I would then question what is it your really try to accomplish.
