I have a hunt-group that was setup before I was here. I've been asked to remove one of the extensions from the list.

Currently it's setup so that if you dial ext 7121, 7181 or 7105 it rings at 8 stations. I went into the hunt-group and removed the extension from the group member assignments, but when you dial any of the above extensions, the removed extension (7535) still rings with the rest of the group.

Did I do something wrong? Is there a seperate group I need to be looking at?

Sounds like it might be a answer group. Try doing a List usage station 7535 to find out.

that just listed which buttons on other stations that 7535 is mapped to.

The cover paths don't make a loop do they?

it's using the normal coverage path.

Try list groups-of-extension 7535. This will tell you which groups 7535 belongs to. You can then change the respective groups and remove this station.

When all else fails follow the call. try doing a "list trace station 7535" on the extension your dialing.

did a list groups-of-extension 7535, no records match specified query.

i removed it from every group i could find it in already.

list trace station is not an available option for me. i can do advocate, vdn, previous, ewt and vector.

If you can't fix it KILL IT. Make a copy of the station form. Make sure you let the user know the phone is being "reset" or do it after hours. type "remove station 7535" this might even help in finding where it is hiding.

ya, but for some reason it just didn't click that those were why it was ringing all over the place.
