I currently have a hunt group setup, that the calls are transferred to from a vector. But what is happenning the calls just ring on a extension if no one picks up the phone calls don't transfer to the persons voicemail box. How can I change the hunt group so the calls will go to one persons voicemail box in the hunt group on ring no answer.

Did you put something in the cov path on the stations ???
As the call needs to go to the persons mailbox you need to put a cov path on the station and not on the hunt.
Do a display station xxxx and check the field 'Coverage Path 1'.

If it is empty then you need to assign the standard cov path that you are using to route calls to the voicemail on any other station.
If something is mentioned, do a display cov path xx (xx=number that is on the station page) and check where it points too.
Otherwise, change it to the default cov path for voicemail.

Hope this helps,
Erik

The user stations all have a cov that points to the voicemail system, any other ideas

Hi

A coverage path on a station will not route messages where a hunt group has been dialled. One suggestion I have used before is to add a cov path to the hunt group with point 1 being a vdn. Write a vector along the lines of
messaging split xx for extension yyyy
stop
where xx is the hunt group number and yyyy is the station to which voicemails should be left. Hope this helps.

Re above posting, forgot to say that xx is the Audix hunt group number.

TN007 I liked the setup, but the coverage path field seems to dissapear a soon as you tag the vector field to Y on the hunt form.
This means you cannot vector-control this same hunt group right? any Idea?

Stug,
If you are on EAS, create a RONA exit on page 2 of the hunt form.
This will pull the call and reque it to an available agent,
or for that matter anything you set the vector to do.
This should also put your agent back in AUX mode, so unable to queue a call there again.
Just add a VDN pointing to a vector that handles it from there.
Put the VDN nr on the Hunt form page 2 RONA redirect.
You can have the vector check if there are any available agents, and if not send it to VM using TN007's vector setup.
You also might need to put the coverage path into the agent form rather than the station form, depending on how you set up direct-agent calling...
