Hunt Group VoiceMail ?

Currently running S8710 with CM 3.0.

Ok guys, I am kind of stuck here on this task. We need to setup hunt groups for different offices throughout our site. 3 phones per office with one hunt number assigned. The hunt number is a DID number. The hunt number also has voicemail. Is there a way to notify the three phones with the message light when a message is left on the hunt number? I hope this question makes sense. Your input is appreciated!

Try putting an auto-message waiting (aut-msg-wt) button on each phone with the hunt group extension

I tried the aut-msg-wt feature and had no success. When I press the button i got the message "Message Retrivel Denied". Do i need to configure anything else for this feature to work?

I think there is a way to set that but I never have used it. We just use it as an indicator light.

Well the button doesn't light up when there is a message on the hunt extension. I must be doing something wrong.

1. You need to make sure that the mailbox has no unopened messages on it before you add the AUT-MSG-WT buttons. If it does, delete the buttons, delete the message(s), and then re-add the buttons.

2. The AUT-MSG-WT button is only a light, you cannot retreive the messages by depress the button. You still must call AUDIX and follow the normal steps to listen to the messages.

Another way to do this is to change the MESSAGE LAMP EXT on page one of each station to the hunt group mailbox number. This should only be done, of course, if the individual station does not have their own voicemail.

I set it up on my system with a hunt group, and it worked after I set Message Center, Message Center Name and Audix name to AUDIX in the hunt group form.
