Hi everyone. I need some input on the best way to handle a situation here. Here is what i would like to have happen:
We have 2 800-numbers routing to agents logged into an EAS split. Currently, they both use the same skill/hunt group (22). This Hunt Group is named "sales support". What i would like to do is setup the queue to where when a call is delivered to either one, it tells the agents on their phone display what "group" the call was delivered to. FOr instance i'd like one of the 800 numbers to show up as "sales support" and the other 800 number to show up as "marketing support".
I know i can do this with multiple splits, but i'd like to keep just one. Ideally i'd like to deliver the VDN name to the station display instead of the hunt group/split name.
I thought i remembered there being a setting somewhere for VDN override or the like that would allow this, but im unclear of what else (if anything) would be required and if this is in fact the correct setting to use.
Currently, both 800 numbers come in under separate DNIS. The DNIS is the VDN, and both VDN's use the same vector with the 1st skill of both VDN's being 22.
Thanks!
