Hello All,

If I have a hunt group overflow to a single extension, will the extension's forwarding rules kick in or will the system still consider it a hunt group call and disregard the extension forwarding rules?

Also, while a caller is in a Hunt Group queue, will they hear ringing or MOH if connected?

Thanks.

If directing the overflow to a set DN then yes the sets fwd takes control. It is no longer in the hunt group.

The caller in queue will hear MOH interrupted by messages if configured to play them.

The calls need to get to the voicemail of 323. The FWN no answer is 6 rings- all set. Hunt group calls just ring all the 5 sets and never get to the voicemail of 323...

Thanks for the info.

CurlyCord,

Not sure what the customer is going to want to do. I know I can overflow to the VM DN and build a mailbox for the hunt group. Wasn't sure about overflowing to an individual DN.

Thanks again.

Tellman,

You may have better luck getting an answer by starting your own thread.

Hijacking a thread is somewhat frowned upon.

Good luck.
