I have a hunt group setup with 4 users, If a user is logged in and doesn't answer a call it automatically switches that user to Aux-Work. If the user doesn't realize it, they could be in Aux-work for a long period. Hitting AUto-in puts them back in. Is there anyway to stop this from happening?

On the second page of the hunt-group form there are (2) entries that affect Redirect On No Answer (RONA). The first is the number of rings before RONA and the second is where to send the call in the event of a RONA. If the second field is blank the call is sent to the original VDN. You could increase the number of rings in the first field, but it increases the risk of a call being held at an agent position who left their desk and forgot to AUX-out.
