hunt group calls need to go to a vm box

dial 2 out of an attendant in embedded.
set for a collective hunt group with two phones in it.
one has voice mail one does not.
Can we have the caller end up in voice mail box after say 3 rings?
currently, the calls just keep ringing.
we would rather not use the hunt group voicemail box.

No - calls always go to the mailbox of the initial target.

So your options are:

- Change the initial target of calls to one of the users but with forwarding of external calls set to the hunt group.

- Give the user message waiting indication for the hunt group mailbox.

- Get Voicemail Pro.


Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
 
You can:

Make a Short Code, such as *666 / Voicemail Collect / "#"201 (or the mailbox you want the call to end up in)

Make a User that is forwarded, including Hunt Group Calls to *666

Make a SEQUENTIAL hunt group with that user as the only member

Go to the original hunt group, go to Overflow, make the Sequential Hunt Group the overflow group and set the timer. Disable the hunt group's voicemail so calls don't go there
