We have a PDC (windows 2000 server with all service packs) which has a model dial-up internet connection shared through the office of 12 PC's (dont ask!! lol). all of the client PC's are running windows 2000 professional with all service packs and updates installed.

everything works fine until a client PC tries to access a HTTPS site. It always fails and says "error: object required code:0" however, the site can be viewed with no problems at the server.

we then removed one of the client PC's from the domain and installed a modem on it and connected to the internet from the modem and it worked fine!

so there is something definately wrong with the server?? in any case, I added port 443 to the connection sharing on the server and still no joy. Are there any other permissions or settings I should be aware of?

PLEASE HELP!
