Hi I have had a look at both those links i understand i think what they are trying to do but i cant relate it to what im trying to do.

I guess my questions should be where should my web files be both my cgi and html on my xp machine and then how do i point apache server at them so when some body requests they are shown.

An example would be useful with basic explination.

madaxe2,

What I'd suggest is to use a VirtualHost in your httpd.conf.

NameVirtualHost *

<VirtualHost *>

ServerAdmin webmaster@mypages.com
DocumentRoot
[path to your index.html]
ServerName
</VirtualHost>

madaxe2,

I need a basic question answered. What is your domain name? You keep using "mypage.com", "page.com", "mypages.com", which are not yours. Do you have a domainname? Because that is going to be required for this to work.
