HTTP ERROR CODE 500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR

I am using Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004. I am able to connect to the web server which is MS Server 2003 using the SQL server conection. Somehow I was able to figure that out and now I am not sure how I did it. But I am getting the 'Http error code 500 internal server error' on a different server which is Windows server 2000. I am having figuring out why I am getting this error on the MS server 2000. Is there a security problem or is there something in the 2000 server does not have thatr 2003 has?.

Do I make any sense here?

I forgot to mention that in Dreamweaver I am using ASP.NET VB.
