html page in email?

This question must have been asked here many times before but I can't find it.

Is there a way to insert a web page inside an email? I need to design an invitation to a party and email it. One way to do it is to turn the invitation into a jpg but I get plenty of junk mail that has different elements of text and images and I'm wondering how they do that.
