HTML in outlook email

I am trying to use html coding in an outlook email.. I cant get the html to work, it keeps showing the code. What can i do or what am i doing wrong.
Basically i am wanting the email to resemble a portion of the webpage. Any ideas????

Do you have Word? If you do use it as the email editor. To do this go to Tool>Options>Mail Format then check the Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages.
