There are 2 satellite locations connected to a central location. The central location has an interface touting to the Internet thropugh a PIX. HSRP is set up with a GB fiber connection as the primary and an ATM T1 as the failover. Unplugging the GB at each remote location provided the desired failover to the T1. The next day there were thunderstorms, and while they didn't knock out connectivity, no one was able to have access to Internet or central office resources. What could be the cause of this problem? If the setup was accomplished without a wr mem, cold this account for the problem? Thanks.
