Hi,

We're using a Compaq GS80. Our storage consists of a dual redundant HSG80 pair
Occaisionally we get a message from the binary error log (delivered by DECEvent v3.3) that mentions something called "Little Endian Mode"

Does anybody know what "Little Endian Mode" is ?

Help and advice is much appreciated.

niktu.

Little Endian is when the Least Significant Bits has the highest value in the number. This means bytes are read "backwards" to put together the string or number.
