Has anyone got this combination to work. Seems ok if you use it with a generic/text printer, but just get a 'this document will not print' error with the 3500 driver.

Resounding silence!
As far as I can tell, it won't work. I must say I was not too impressed with dlink, they take the view that if it works with generic/text, that is all they need to prove. There seem to be a lot of these devices around. I presume they are fairly similar. Selling something that may work with some printers without either warning in big letters, or giving a list of what does work seems poor to me.
I spent several hours trying to get the thing to work, obviosuly not chargeable to the customer and have bought myself a paperweight. Live and learn.
