HP1120c has power but does nothing

My HP1120c was working fine when I left for a week-long trip. When I came back, the power LED was unlit and the resume LED & cartridge LED were both on. (not flashing) Pushing any of the buttons, including the power button, does nothing at all. The only way to turn off the LEDs is to unplug the printer. When the printer is plugged back in, they come back on (still no power LED). The printer does not make any sound at all and nothing moves at all. I have 19 Vdc output from the internal power transformer board, but since I have not been able to locate any schematics, I don't know what else to check.

that fault error try takein out the ink and cleaning it see what happens So long and thanks for all the fish.

I have a lab at school with an 1120 c printer...and I noticed even when working properly...it doesn't seem to do the "normal" things printers do. What I mean...is all those cartride noises and everything you get with printers cleaning themselves. I had many problems with that printer....but usually reinstalling the printer took care of the problems..and it printed fine for awhile. I don't know what software you are running...but I was running Print Shop on a Win95 shared network. We ran into many problems with the HP spooler that the printer driver uses. In the end...I hooked the priner up to an external Jet Direct box...and now it works perfectly!! And still doesn't make all those "normal" printer sounds

Try cleaning the printer, Ink buildup cal be havoc on an inkjet printer. I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every moment of it.
