HP Multi Media Ctre

Have a HP7060n Multi Media Ctre, and am trying to install a PCI graphics card so I can use TV out for viewing on my TV, have tried a few graphics cards namely BMG make but seems like they are not compatable for some reason, can anyone suggest a particular graphics card 256mb with TV out that will work, thanks.

it would be helpful with some more details here

You should look for video cards that is compatible with Intel 915G chipset (presuming thats whats inside you computer).

What cards have you tried out?
Have you installed the latest drivers for each of the cards after inserting it?
What happens when it fails?

This last question is probably a stupid one - but have you turned of the onboard card before inserting the new one?

I would think that nvidia cards is compatible with 915G.

Thx for your prompt response, yes I did switch the drivers and following is the card I tried:GPU NVIDIA® GeForce™ FX 5500 $190, the computer just freezes at the window logo but am able to see the dektop on my TV.

been looking for compatability lists for the 915 chipset, but with no good results.

You could also try to call HP and ask for a technician?

Have you gone into desktop settings in Windows and made the appropriate changes to the settings? i.e., telling it that you want to use both monitors?

Thx Guys, yes I did make the necessary changes to the settings, I'll try to e-mail the manufacturers BFG and see what they can come up with, I'll post the results.
