Had a user's PC crash and did re-install on new HD. OS is MS NT 4.0 SP 6a. User has an HP LJ4 on LPT 1. I installed driver from HP(lj194en.exe) and the same little graphics in Word 2000 that he previously was able to print before his hard drive crashed, he now gets a 21 Print Overrun error. I also used the MS and HP drivers in Add Printer in NT and same error. There is no Device Settings tab in these drivers to set the memory like in the HP III driver (which I tried, too but you can't get 600DPI). Memory in printer is 4096K. I brought a spare PC to him also, so I know it's not just one PC. I also purchased a new IEEE1284 printer cable. The 21 Print Overruns continue. I have looke on HP's and Microsoft's sites and all 21 Print Overrun error "solutions" are for W3.1, W95/98 and these have not worked on NT. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

The Print overrun error is usually caused by not having enough printer memory.
