Hp jetdirect 170x - Lexmark 2480 printing prob.

We have lexmark forms 2480 printers connected to a HP Jetdirect 170x. We created a ndps printer on novell 6 srv, HP gateway ( default settings)
Configuration hp jetdirect parallel mode = Centronics

Problem: printer stops printing after X pages, moves to the right, left or 1 line down after X pages.

You shouldn't be using the HP gateway for a lexmark printer. Delete the printer and recreate it using the Novell gateway..

agree

there is also a lexmark gateway available
but i know last time i used it - it was crap

the novell gateway will work a treat for this
