I have a HP LaserJet 8150 PCL 6 which will only print halfway down the page? it's running the PCL6 driver. I have tried it with the PCL5e driver and thats the same does anybody have any clues ?

What does a test print generated from the printer menu look like ?

is the page blank vertically or horizontally. it half of it is blank horizontally (landscape) then it might be the cartridge because the 8250 feeds paper that way. You may be out of toner, or their may be a defect in the cartridge.

I have had a number of BAD toner from HP 8150 (having both 8100 and 8150 Will leave 8000 out as different toner) that will not work but once changed do. I had a similar problem when we first got the 8150 but can not remenber the solution (think it was the driver) but this does not explain if you ptint information page from the printer only test page from windows.
