Hi all,
I've got another question concerning my beloved crate...![[ponder] [ponder] [ponder]](/data/assets/smilies/ponder.gif)
To start with, I am a total newbie to that machine.
What possibilities do I have left booting that damn thing? I want to install Debian woody, but I do not have a suitable floppy drive or a CD-ROM. I've alerady tried a normal PC floppy drive, but it wouldn't work. Is there a workaround or do I have to tell the system about the new drive? And as far as I've heard there is only a handful of extrenal CD-Drives bootable with this machine. None availabe at Ebay or elsewhere in my vivinity.
I have also tried to install via network. I set up a dhcp server on Suse Linux, but I probably did it wrong because there was no TFTP server to be found when searching for bootable devices in the Boot Admin.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanx,
Jens
