HowTo FTP over SSL through Raptor V7 Firewall 1

Hello,

Bypassing firewall (same localhost) SSL works:
(00000388) 127.0.0.1:1047 connected to 127.0.0.1:21
(00000388) mailboxclone D(0) 127.0.0.1 UNK AUTH SSL
(00000388) SSL Negotiated cipher strength 128 cipher name DHE-RSA-AES128-SHA

Through firewall SSL fails:
(000004ac) 172.16.8.32:28638 connected to 192.168.2.35:21
(000004ac) foghorn D(0) 172.16.8.32 UNK AUTH SSL
(000004ac) SSL Negotiated cipher strength 0 cipher name (null)

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is not an easy task seeing it is FTP and FTP uses its funky ports. I am working through this one with the SGS 2.0 and am having a few issues with the PORT command.

But as for the SEF 7 just follow the below KB from Symantec and you should be good to go.

Thanks for the feedback. Customer decided implementing SSL too risky and decided to go with PGP instead.
