Can any 1 explain to me what i have to do to configure sendmail? Its like 450 files and i dont know where to start.

how to use sendmail

look for the cf directory ... (on solaris this is /lib/mail/cf)
if you installed sendmail, you'll have it around as well ...
in there are a few .mc files ...
have a look at these, and at the manuals/html that you can find ...
run the makefile for the mc's and you should have some cf's produced ...
copy the one you want to your configuration directory.
umm ... that is kinda it ... (matters on which options you choose tho
