I have an OCX file and I want to use it in my software.

How can I add some ActiveX contorle (OCX) in visual foxpro.

In general it's as easy as droping the .OCX on a form, setting the properties and "using" it in the form code.

For some sample code check out the Solution.APP that you can load up from the MSDN library CD. (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\MSDN\99OCT\1033\Samples\Vfp98\Solution\Solution.App).

There is also a good paper on the Stonefield site ( - go to the Technical Papers section and get "Using Visual FoxPro ActiveX Controls".

There also a couple papers on the MS VFP site -
