How to use a trunk using trunk access code?

Hi,

i want to know how to use a trunk using trunk access code? Is there a setting in the trunk group where i could not be able to do that? I will the dial the number then he trunk access code or what?

In the trunk group form you have set a TAC code and change dial access to 'y'.

To dial out using that trunk group, just dial the TAC code, as you would dial '9' to make an outside call.

If you TG is a PRI, it will not work...

Thanks.. Inorder for me to use that trunk group using TAC, I should be calling from my private network. ryt? Because im cheacking for possible toll fraud. because my bill was getting higher and higher. The calls from the bill is not reflected from my CDR? Where is the possible hole for the hacker?

I have my authorazition code. Susan, what is trunk to trunk transfer? How can someone do that? Is there a setting where I could disable that?

Trunk to trunk" transfer is when an inbound call can be directly transferred to an outbound call, without restrictions. It's a bad thing. Check your system-parameter features page 1 for Trunk-to-Trunk transfer settings.
