First open your form in design view.<br>Find your combo box an double click it to bring up properties. <br>Go to the top of properties and find the "Name", remember it.<br>Next in design view of your Query click in the field where you want the Combo box to show. Click in the "Criteria" box<br>Then Right Click and a list will pop up, left click on "Build". A build dialog box will show.<br>Double Click the "Forms" word in the lower Left column.<br>If your form is currently open then click "Loaded forms" <br>Or "All forms" if not<br>Find your form and double click it.<br>In the middle column a list will show that has has every item on your form find your Combo box.<br>Then double click it.<br>It will show in the top box. like so <br>Forms![Form1]![Combo7] <br>Click OK<br>It should show in your Criteria box<br>Open your form and pick an item in the combox box.<br>Next run your query it should show the results based on that combo box.<br><br>Note: this Build is a powerful thing remember it and use it. <p>DougP<br><a href=mailto: dposton@universal1.com> dposton@universal1.com</a><br><a href= > </a><br> Ask me how Bar-codes can help you be more productive.
