How to update accounts for mass sharing?

Does anyone know if it's possible to update the sharing of accounts using a script and logic. We have 25000 accounts, too many to update manually. Is the sharing stored in a particular table?
Thanks for any direction on where to find what fields need to be updated.

You could make a direct and also very unsupported update to the database but the fact you want to do this suggests to me that you may want to revisit your security structure in Microsoft CRM.
